Re-Elect Andrea Ortiz for Eugene City Council, Ward 7
Endorsements

Responsive to the needs of the entire community. . .

What They're Saying About Andrea Ortiz

"Andrea Ortiz continues to work hard for Ward 7 residents while serving all of Eugene. She is fair and we need her insights and voice on the Council."
- Floyd Prozanski, State Senator

Andrea really cares about the people in Ward 7, she gets things done, and brings a thoughtful and common sense approach to the Council.”
–City Councilor Alan Zelenka

The residents of Ward 7 in Eugene have a golden opportunity to insure effective representation over the next 4 years by re-electing Andrea Ortiz. When it comes to the qualities that matter most to me - vision, leadership, independence, and timely and effective response to constituent concerns, Andrea is unsurpassed in her service to those in Ward 7 as well as the rest of the community. She takes the time to be well-informed on the vast number of issues that come before the council despite the fact that she holds down a full-time job and volunteers her time elsewhere as well. In addition to her service on the city council, Andrea is a former member of the Bethel Budget Committee and Bethel School Board and has represented the council on the Eugene Police Commission and Eugene Human Rights Commission.

Andrea brings her incredible work ethic and commitment to community to the council. If you add her experience to her hard work and dedicated service, it is apparent that she has earned the privilege of representing Ward 7. Please join me in financially supporting her campaign and in voting for Andrea Ortiz for Ward 7 city councilor.

Federal law requires political committees to use their best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

Federal law prohibits contributions to a political committee from:

· the general treasury funds of corporations, labor organizations or national banks (including corporate credit cards);
· any person contributing another person's funds;
· foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status; and
· government contractors. A political committee may accept contributions from minor children (i.e., persons under 18 years of age) if the minor makes the decision to contribute knowingly and voluntarily, and the child contributes his or her own funds, and the contribution is not controlled by another individual or made from the proceeds of a gift given to provide funds to be contributed.
